I have enjoyed a long career leading learning and instructional technology teams, and value the working relationships I have built with many information technology professionals, vendors and educators. There are few things as rewarding to me as seeing learning gains resulting from effective integration of professional development into an organization’s strategic plan. | We begin with a discovery session where I get to know my client, their employees, the organizational culture, their products and – most importantly – the business outcomes that they are looking to achieve. Depending on the scope and scale of the inquiry, this might be a single session, or it might involve more research. We’ll discuss the best approach for your needs.From this, we’ll develop a suite of strategies and recommendations, and demonstrate how they’ll support your expected business outcomes. Our proposal is a starting point for a conversation that will focus in on precisely how you’d like to proceed.
Once we arrive at a best fit solution, we’ll get to work on the custom developed deliverables. If your organization has off the shelf solutions that you already use and like, we’ll weave those into the big picture so that they support the context and culture that aligns with the business need. For instructional content that requires a facilitator, I can provide that facilitation expertise, or provide train-the-trainer instruction and leader guides that allow the client to sustain that facilitation themselves. Facilitation can take place in a classroom or virtual environment, as suits the need of the client, participants, and expected outcomes. Finally, I work with the client to evaluate the efficacy of the program, measure the impact of their organizational development efforts, allowing them to adequately plan for the future. |
